Sample and validation

Validate the product before you commit to a container

A paid sample is the cheapest possible version of a bad first order. Sample cost is also the first honest signal of whether a project is real on both sides.

Primary question

Last fact checked 2026-09-15

How do I request a sample, what does it cost, and what can be credited back?

Standard sample: Distributor price × 2. The full sample fee is credited against a subsequent order of USD 5,000 or more. Light-custom sample: Sample fee plus the actual customization cost. 50% is credited once mass production reaches the agreed threshold. ODM prototype: NRE, prototyping, tooling and development fees are confirmed per project. Not refunded by default. Any amortization must be agreed in advance.
